Natural vs. Organic
Organic systems prohibit the use of artificial chemicals, pesticides and fertilisers, therefore keeping dangerous chemicals out of the products that we use daily and that penetrate our skin and the soil that our food grows in. 2. Good for People Organic based ingredients have been shown in a number of studies to contain more vitamins, nutrients and cancer-fighting antioxidants than non-organic ingredients 3. NO Synthetic Chemicals or GMO's Certified Organic products are produced without GMOs (genetically modified organisms), which are prohibited in the standards for organic food and farming Organic systems rely on a modern and scientific understanding of ecology and soil science, while also depending on traditional methods of crop rotations to ensure fertility and pest control. 5. Good for the Environment Organic systems aim to reduce dependence on non-renewable resources. Organic production aims at all times towards sustainability while having the best management of the environment and wildlife as a priority.
In today's world, the name "organic" has become a bit of a buzz word." With grocery store "organic aisles" popping up everywhere and a bombardment of new products on the shelf claiming to be natural or organic, it is hard to sort out what is real and what is not.
We believe that in order to be organic a product must be grown, cultivated, and processed without the use of synthetic chemicals such as insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides
What is even more important than what the product is called is what ingredients are in it!

Here are the facts...
There are no strict regulations on the word "natural" or "organic"
Companies can market their product as natural even if only one ingredient is derived from nature (ie. aloe vera) but the rest of it is full of toxic chemicals.
Companies can claim natural even if the ingredient originally came from nature (such as coconut oil) but then went through a chemical process to become a toxic chemical such as cocoamide DEA, a very common chemical in personal care products.
Without regulations on the word organic, companies can basically modify their products to appear to be organic when in fact they are not. They can inflate the organic percentages to 70% of their product by listing botanical extracts and weak teas at the top and toxic chemicals at the bottom of the ingredient list so that they can claim organic when in fact the product is not safe.
What does Certified Organic Mean?
An independent third party guarentee of an "organic" claim. Companies must comply with stringent international standards, showing & proving an organic audit trail from seed, growing, harvesting, storage, transporting, and processing right through to the finished product.
