Kids & Chemicals
What are We Putting on Our Kids?
Our children are precious gifts to us and we would do just about anything to shield them from harm. From the moment they arrive, we try to teach them good eating and sleeping habits. We want them to grow up to be strong, healthy adults. We do all of these things to keep our kids clean and protected, however we have been misinformed about the safety of the very products that we use to do that with.

Unborn Babies are Inheiriting Our Chemicals
More and more research is now showing us that toxic and disease-causing chemicals to linked allergies, asthma, reproductive disorders, tumors, and cancer are being passed down from mom to baby. One might think that mom must be taking recreational drugs or intentionally injesting harmful chemicals, but this is simply not true. Because there are no regulations for personal care items, women are unknowingly using common household brands that contain potentially dangerous chemcials to both mom and baby. The cosmetic industry spends millions of dollars every year on lobbiests in Washington to keep it that way in order to protect a multi-billion dollar cosmetic industry.

Unfortunately, manufacturers would have us believe that the only products that we should be using on our kids are products that are marketed for babies. Products that have pretty color dyes and nice fragrances are not only not better for you child, but often these "kid" products
contain more of the harmful ingredients than even adult formulations because of all the extra fragrance and color.
What is more important than anything is what is on the label of the product. As a rule of thumb, If you can't pronounce the ingredient, chances are it isn't very safe and certainly not suitable for baby's delicate skin.
Use certified organic products when possible or products that have a complete ingredient list that you have approved.
